LACONIA, N.H. Join Celebrate Laconia as we celebrate Laconia’s cultural heritage on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 7 PM at the Laconia Community Center with the Miss Laconia 125th and Jr. Miss Laconia 125th Scholarship Pageant.
Pam Clark, President of Celebrate Laconia, and Julie Cilley-Bush, Miss Laconia Centennial 1993, are excited to announce that there are 10 young ladies that will be competing in the Scholarship Pageant.
This event was designed to provide a scholarship opportunity to our local young ladies who are willing to share their talents, academic achievements, and most importantly their interest in making the city of Laconia stronger through their community service projects.
These young ladies will be competing in the categories of Community Service, Interview, Talent, and Evening Gown. Scholarship money, trophies, and other prizes, which have been generously donated by local merchants, will be awarded to the top finishers. In addition, there will be Community Service awards presented by the judges.
The winners will represent the City of Laconia at upcoming events throughout this 125th Anniversary year. Look for more details on this event and the contestants in next week’s Lifestyles Section of the Laconia Daily Sun.
Tickets for the Miss Laconia 125th Pageant are $6.00 and are available for pre-buy on www.celebratelaconia.org/miss-laconia-125th-pageant, and will be available at the door. Limited number of tickets available.
