The City on the Lakes presents the annual Celebrate Laconia Lights Festival. Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor Melcher & Prescott Insurance. The Lights Festival, includes the City's annual Holiday Parade, the Light-Up Laconia Holiday Decoration Competition, the City on the Lakes Holiday Walk, Food Court on Canal Street, and lots of activities for families and kids at The Mill. The Celebrate Laconia Lights Festival Opens with the Santa Shuffle 5K Run/Walk at 11:00am, Saturday, November 29, 2025.  Dress up in your most festive outfits and run or walk for Greater NH Children's Auction.  Take a ride on the Lights Festival Locomotive at 11:30am, 1:00pm or 2:30pm!  We will have food trucks, Music and Activities downtown from 12pm until after the parade. Food trucks will be located on Canal Street. Follow the signs. Local businesses will be open there will be activities for families and kids in the downtown area.  Enjoy some great food, decorate your tree and enjoy the downtown. Come join us and share your holiday spirit.​

Lights Festival Holiday Parade - Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 5:00pm.

Food Court on Canal Street - Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11am.

​City on the Lakes Holiday Walk - Sponsor a Tree - Saturday, November 29, 2025 - Saturday, December 27, 2025. Tree will be set-up by November 22th. You can decorate between November 22th and 29th or later. We will be downtown from 10am-8pm November 29th with Food, Music, Activities, and Holiday Parade. Enjoy the downtown, decorate your tree and stay for the parade at 5:00pm.
