The City on the Lakes presents the annual Celebrate Laconia Lights Festival. Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor Melcher & Prescott Insurance. The Lights Festival, includes the City's annual Holiday Parade, Train Rides, Santa Shuffle 5K Run/Walk, the Light-Up Laconia Holiday Decoration Competition, the City on the Lakes Holiday Walk, Food Court on Canal Street, and lots of activities for families and kids. The Celebrate Laconia Lights Festival Opens with the Santa Shuffle 5K Run/Walk at 9:00am, Saturday, November 30, 2024.  Dress up in your most festive outfits and run or walk for Greater NH Children's Auction.  Take a ride on the Lights Festival Locomotive at 11:30am, 1:00pm or 2:30pm!  We will have food trucks, Music and Activities downtown from 12pm until after the parade. Food trucks will be located on Canal Street. Follow the signs. Local businesses will be open there will be activities for families and kids in the downtown area.  Enjoy some great food, decorate your tree and enjoy the downtown. Come join us and share your holiday spirit.

Santa Shuffle 5K Run/Walk - Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 9:00am. Sponsored by Downtown Gym

 

Lights Festival Holiday Parade - Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 5:00pm.

Food Court on Canal Street - Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 12pm. 

​

​City on the Lakes Holiday Walk - Sponsor a Tree - Saturday, November 30, 2024 - Saturday, December 29, 2024. Tree will be set-up by November 24th. You can decorate between November 24th and 30th or later. We will be downtown from 10am-8pm November 30th with Food, Music, Activities, and Holiday Parade. Enjoy the downtown, decorate your tree and stay for the parade at 5:00pm.

Tree Decoration Competition - New in 2024, we are holding a competition for the trees in Rotary and Stewart Parks that you vote for!  More information to be posted once trees are set up.
