Large Christmas Tree

City on Lakes Holiday Walk.jpg

Share the Holidays with the City on the Lakes by decorating a Christmas Tree for everyone to enjoy.

The City on the Lakes is starting a new tradition as part of the annual Celebrate Laconia Lights Festival. It’s called the City on the Lakes Holiday Walk. Celebrate Laconia has teamed up with Glove Hollow Tree Farm to sell trees to individuals, organizations, businesses, and families to decorate in Rotary and Stewart Parks in downtown Laconia. Trees are on display for everyone in the community to enjoy throughout the holiday season! Please note: Trees have sold out.

The holiday parade will take place on Sunday, November 29 at 4:30p. With the conclusion of the parade, Santa will light the trees decorated in the parks. Plans for parade and the tree lighting could change due to COVID-19 guidelines, but the trees will be lit on Sunday, November 29 by 6:30p regardless of changes.

Social distancing and COVID-19 precautions will be very important to keep everyone safe and healthy. Trees will be placed at 6 feet intervals to ensure social distanced viewing and we request people wear masks while participating in the walk. Please check back on this page for any changes that might occur due to changes in COVID-19 guidelines.
