The Holiday Parade, brought to you by presenting sponsor Melcher & Prescott Insurance and the parade entertainment sponsor Meredith Village Savings Bank,  will kick-off the Celebrate Laconia Lights Festival and holiday season for the City of Laconia. 

The Holiday Parade will take place on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 4:30pm. The City on the Lakes Holiday Walk will be lit for all to enjoy for the season.

This years parade will be combination car parade and traditional parade. The holiday parade route will be posted soon.

We are happy to announce the winners of the first annual, Celebrate Laconia Holiday Parade Float Competition! There were some great floats in this year’s Holiday Parade and we are so happy we had groups joining the competition.


    Without further ado...Drum roll please......


1st Place goes to the Belknap County Sheriff’s Department – They will receive 50/50 raffle style $150 CASH and a $50 Kellerhaus Gift Certificate!


2nd Place goes to the Laconia Skate Park – They will take home 4 complimentary tickets to see Recycled Percussion at The Cake in downtown Laconia!


3rd Place goes to The Legacy Group – They will take home a gift card bouquet from New Leaf, The Studio and Happy Cow Ice Cream totaling $65!

You can view from anywhere along the route and stay safe with your family and friends.  Please refer to the parade route below to help you find a good place to watch. Join us from the comfort of  your living room! The parade will also be broadcast live with our favorite holiday emcee, Pat Kelly - courtesy of  the wonderful folks at Lakes Region Public Access! The live broadcast can be streamed at or watch it locally on Atlantic Broadband channel 25.
