The Holiday Parade, will kick-off the Celebrate Laconia Lights Festival and holiday season for the City of Laconia.

The Holiday Parade will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2023 at 5:00pm. We will have food trucks, music and activities from 12pm-8pm. Come join us and share your holiday spirit. Following the parade the trees will be lit for the City on the Lakes Holiday Walk to be enjoyed for the season.

This years parade will be a traditional marching parade with floats, bands, walkers, and cars. The parade will begin promptly at 5:00pm from the Laconia High School. The parade will proceed down Union Ave and turn onto Church Street, head down main street, and ending in Stewart Park for the Annual tree lighting.  Click here to view the Holiday Parade route. We will not do the driving portion through Lakeport this year.

FLOAT CONTEST 

Enter the Float contest and show your holiday spirit!! The entry fee is $50 per float. You do not have to enter the contest to have a float in the parade. If you participate you will need to display a sign designating your contestant entry number provide by Celebrate Laconia on your float for voting. Please select enter float contest on the form below and you can pay online. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place floats.
