LIGHTS FESTIVAL HOLIDAY PARADE 2024

The Holiday Parade, will kick-off the Celebrate Laconia Lights Festival and holiday season for the City of Laconia.

The Holiday Parade will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2023 at 5:00pm. We will have food trucks, music and activities from 12pm-8pm. Come join us and share your holiday spirit. Following the parade the trees will be lit for the City on the Lakes Holiday Walk to be enjoyed for the season. 

​

This years parade will be a traditional marching parade with floats, bands, walkers, and cars. The parade will begin promptly at 5:00pm from the Laconia High School. The parade will proceed down Union Ave and turn onto Church Street, head down main street, and ending in Stewart Park for the Annual tree lighting.  Click here to view the Holiday Parade route. We will not do the driving portion through Lakeport this year.

FLOAT CONTEST 

 

Enter the Float contest and show your holiday spirit!! The entry fee is $50 per float. You do not have to enter the contest to have a float in the parade. If you participate you will need to display a sign designating your contestant entry number provide by Celebrate Laconia on your float for voting. Please select enter float contest on the form below and you can pay online. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place floats. Come join this year's Holiday Parade! We encourage anyone to participate. Just sign up using the Holiday Parade Application Form below. Registration is FREE unless you choose to enter the Float Contest. Floats are not required to enter the contest. You can view from anywhere along the route and stay safe with your family and friends.  Please refer to the parade route to help you find a good place to watch. Join us from the comfort of your living room! The parade will also be broadcast live with our favorite holiday emcee, Pat Kelly - courtesy of the wonderful folks at Lakes Region Public Access!
